David Fletcher is a seasoned senior executive with over 30 years of leadership experience in risk, governance, and general management roles at global institutions, including Citibank, Standard Chartered, and Bupa. He currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Board Director at Tawrid and China Taiping Insurance UK. He is the Group Chief Risk Officer at Bupa Group, where he also holds the positions of Vice Chairman of Bupa Arabia and Director of Niva Bupa. David has led transformational initiatives across Asia and Europe, including his role as CEO of Permata Bank Indonesia. He earned a degree in Modern History from Durham University and has attended executive programs at INSEAD and the University of Oxford.
